Dr. Kalyani Vallath is a trailblazer in English language teaching. Vallath Books, formerly known as Bodhi Tree Books, is part of the Vallath Education movement that she has built over nearly three decades. Vallath Books has brought out over 200 titles, covering almost every aspect of learning English language and literature, as well as preparation for competitive examinations in English.
Its flagship offering is a unique series of Contemporary Encyclopaedias, comprising three volumes on British Literature, two on Literature of the Americas, two on Indian Literature, and one on Literary Criticism. Other titles in the series are currently in preparation.
